Sorry, I’ll be the dick here but I like the rose buds but don’t like the leaves as much. Maybe it’s just me but I think there’s too many straight lines (or veins or whatever they’re called) running through the leaves that just don’t look right to me.

Like what was just said, depending on location and unless there’s a huge gain it shouldn’t matter. You’re just turning 18, though, take your time and gain some weight and then get a tattoo.

Nice, love the Jerry stuff. Definitely a different color scheme to this one which I’m a little iffy on but it’s a nice piece.

I always take a couple of weeks off form the gym after I get a new tattoo whether it’s needed or not. I’m not a professional bodybuilder so I’m not going to sweat it (pun intended) if I miss some workouts. I don’t want to worry about sweat, stretching, dirt, … during the healing process. I would rather be overly cautious than not enough.

Looks ok, but for what it is 3 weeks seems slow. Make sure you’re not using too much lotion.

The tattoo looks great, congrats. I’ve had two LONG 10+ hour sessions on my pinup on my back that were not fun but worth it. I just got the side of my calf done and it was one of the easiest tattoos I have. Granted it only took a little over two hours but there was very little pain in that area for me.

As with most aftercare products, I’ve read both good and bad about bepanthen so I guess it’s up to personal experience and preference. A lot of people in Europe use bepanthen because they can’t get other stuff, I’d be apprehensive if it was me.

I can’t believe I’m just now seeing this. If sexual comments were made that’s inexcusable so I kind of get it but it still feels like walking on egg shells and looking over a shoulder at all times wondering if I’ll say the wrong thing to get banned. I’m usually not too bad but I think I’ll become more of a lurker and less of a poster.

Don’t overdo the lotion. It’s normal to be sore, you want it to peel and flake a little but scabbing isn’t great.

You don’t even need a sketch. The key is finding a GOOD artist, one that is capable of doing a sleeve. Like mrchen said, give the artist freedom. You can let them know which specific elements you’d like to see in the sleeve and the artist should be able to put it all together to make it flow. Let the artist know your short and long term sleeve…[Read more]

Don’t buy anything with the word tattoo on the label. And don’t use sunscreen on a tattoo unless it’s fully healed.
