Hey,

I can’t give you advice on the Tattoo’s etc, however i’ve i’m London born and bred!

Camden, as you say, is a geat place to go during the day or on a night out. Me and my friends like to go to Electric Ballroom on the weekend, or down by the lock theres a few good places. Lock Side Lounge is a nice place to have a drink on the weekend as is Ice Warf Bar. Prices are decent for a night out in Camden and it’s got a nice laid back atmosphere.

Now if you wanna do the whole touristy night out i’d definitley do Leicester Square atleast once. However, it’s obviously extremely busy and the prices are hiked. The Wetherspoons bar, I think its Moon on the Square, is a good place to start and then there’s places like Zoo Bar.

Otherwise I stay local to where I live. Personally I wouldn’t suggest going out in Wood Green. You should have a look round where you’ll be living when you get here i’m sure there’ll be decent places to go!

I second the love for King. The only time he’s ever let me down is The Stand. It’s awful, wandering, and seems almost pointless by the end. But I seem to be in the minority on that opinion.

I totally agree. After reading Cell I got recommended to read The Stand and was daunted simply by the size of it!! I read it on a holiday and it completely bored me… I finished it simply because I wanted to see if it got good at all! I didn’t get it at all…

In the middle of reading Stephen King Cell for like the 4th time. I’ll read pretty much anything written by Stephen King I love IT, Cujo, Firestarter, The Shining, Misery etc etc! IMO the books are always better than the films.

I also like a good murder mystery especially Harlan Coben.

Now I’m REALLY off. I am Irish….and….I guarantee….for the first time in history….the whole of Ireland will be right behind England to win the world cup!

Provided, of course, that in your progress to, or in, the final, You beat the livin’ crap out of Henry, Malouda, and every other ***** that pulls on a French shirt!

I feel for you guys… You outplayed the French in that game and fully deserved it to ATLEAST go to penalties. With Blatter and Platini so high up in football you had no chance at a replay or being the 33rd team. I would have loved to have seen if it was all the other way round and the French has been eliminated through a hand ball i’m 99% sure France would have gotten a replay. It’s a disgrace for football.

Cool cool well Riise was our best left back and should have never left Liverpool! Norway have definitley got some good players especially Riise, Morten Gamst Pederson and John Carew.

Barcelona are my so called “2nd team”! Wow what an experience to be in a country who wins the world cup! I don’t think England will any time soon….

I also love most sports, excluding running…..

Hey,

I’m definitley not an expert however I have read that tattoo’s on the bottom of your feet and the palms of your hands come off quite quickly. Due to the reason you stated – shedding of skin quickly. I also read since they’re extremely sensitive areas and that they hurt a lot to tattoo!

I’m sure someone a lot more experienced and knows their stuff will comment and let you know 100%.

Hi Matthew
Thanks for the link and thanks for the reply anyhow! I had a look over the evil in the needle website and some of the work on there looks great, when i’m back in London i’m going to go there and get a price from them. Have you had work done there before?

Hi Matthew I live really near to Camden. I’ve had a look at their website and their work looks great I think i’m gonna go in and talk with them about prices and an appointment. Thanks for the recommendation as i’m not too sure about my local tattoo shop regarding its experience. Have you had work done there before?
Thanks

It is my first yes. I was at first looking into getting an image but I couldn’t find anything that would fit with the message or with what I liked. Plus i’m not planning on getting more than maybe 1 more tattoo and not for a very long time so i’m not bothered about taking up prime space. Thanks for your opinion anyway though because that is what I asked for!
