It’s certainly a big problem for two of my local guys, Dan Chase and David Corden. They both close their books regularly but are still booked out a long way (over a Year in Davids case)
Still, nice position to be in, being booked a Month and a half means that your work is (quite rightly) sought after especially as an apprentice.
I appreciate it…[Read more] -

You’re really nailing it, can’t wait to see how good you are in a few Years time.
Please, please just promise to give me a booking when you have a waiting list measured in Years! -

To be perfectly honest dude, I don’t think you are quite ready yet.
I wanted one (on and off) since I was 18 but wasn’t ready to get one until recently (I’m nearly 40 now)Just remember the obvious, they don’t wash off, don’t get it wrong!
Good luck ๐

replied to the topic Should I get it fixed or cover it? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 14 years ago
Well, although it’s difficult to see from the picture, I believe it’s quite small, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to cover it up. I would think that you’d need something at least 3-4 times bigger in order for a cover-up job to not look like crap.
Likewise, I don’t believe it can really be fixed. It would only get worse.
Have you thought about…[Read more]

For me, the first place to start is to just decide what KIND of tattoos you like and don’t like. Once you’ve narrowed that down, your own internal search mechanism becomes more focused and you find it easier to find things that you like. Once you’ve gotten a good grasp of what you like, you can start researching artists that specialize in that,…[Read more]

Although Chen’s reply was unnecessarily rude, he is right that we don’t exactly welcome scratchers in here.
That being said, I’d be very interested to see the quality of your work. You see, you make two points that I believe to be completely erroneous.
Firstly, you say that “if you really dig deep you will find that the average tattoo artist got…[Read more]

Cornishtiger, our resident laser expert, can probably give you a rough guesstimate for a price, but I’d think it shouldn’t be too expensive. Seeing as it’s so tiny,(surely they must charge (relatively thinking) per inch or square inch or something like that) it can’t take more than a couple of seconds each session and thus can’t be too expensive…[Read more]

Lovely story, and definitely something that helps you remember that tattoo ๐
Have you considered just getting the mistake lasered (it can’t be very dark or wide since it was just one scratch) and then continue on with the tattoo sans mistake?

I think you make a good point there O6, just seems crazy though when it’s something that’s indelibly ingrained in your skin.
