Never to old man. But yes some of the most most successful (not the best) shops are run by non tattooers.
For the most part an artist is usually not to good at running a business and a business man is not a good artist they use different parts of the brain.

If you get a Japanese maple leaf tattooed on you you will have to tell people the rest of your life that it’s not a pot leaf. I would pick something else.

Get what you want but beware that trendy tattoos just look lame in a few years. If you must get text tattoo pick a font and have it big enough that it won’t just blur out in a couple of years.

If you like it hot Arizona is the place to go. Housing is very cheap there right now they have been hit hard by the resection. If cost of living doesn’t maker it doesn’t get much better then the California coast.

He really seems to move around a bit. He used to work in shop down the street from me. I was going to maybe get a little something from him but he moved to Oregon before I got around to it.
