Hmmm completed – not overly keen with the questions though as rather negative wording. 😡

Hope the course goes well and next year aim towards doing a neutral questionaire – if you asked me that one in the street I’d have walked off after a couple of questions.

To sum it up

I’m educated, not suicidal, happy with myself, life and attitude. I don’t pick my friends, associates or employees because they’ve got ink. I’ve never knowingly scared, offended or upset anyone because of my inkwork. 😀

After much searching and realising way too many tattooists in my area have a crap attitude – or could it be down to a lack of talent as I tried contacting most and either no reply, would look at it so I travelled and not there too busy. Emails sent to places as requested with dimensions pictures ideas etc etc basically drew it out myself and deleted without reading……they asked for them

…….and breath!!!!!

Well after that I have found a tattooist who has the same vision as me – took time out after closing to test draw it from free hand took piccys and is currently drawing the final work up and should be starting in the next week or so – if we don’t start this week it will be April as off diving beginning of April so need time to heal

I can’t show piccys as he has them – agreement though he offered a copy I wanted to build trust with him that I won’t bugger off elsewhere.

Hi Jin and welcome – not too far away in Swindon – which studio you working from Abingdon or Kidlington?

Some superb work there – might have to pop in and see you soon (as I am getting pissed about by mine 🙁 )

I will be looking to add to the cross on my lower arm – is that something you could design something around. I’m quite open to artistic interpretation as long as its nothing offensive or dark – so no devils or demons.

I’m not religious though I have a cross I actually like the cross rather than it being symbolic!

You might want to edit a couple of piccys in number 11 as I can make out the numbers!

But some interesting work there – I like work with meanings

I had the same issues initially and having zero patience didn’t help – but just came down to practicing even holding the bcr by the ear and doing it (wouldn’t rip it out if I threw a strop) Now have no issues on any part of my body

Oh yeah hint – I locate 1 dimple and rotate to snap the other into place – works for me

The gecko is personal and more fitting in my opinion – not so sure about the tail bit good idea but wouldn’t look right in the tattoo and having to explain it anytime anyone asked. Crosses aren’t anything these days unless he was religious and meaningful.

Why not do the gecko with fine line angel wings or a halo as a bit different but won’t over power the lizard – as I can’t remember seeing another like it

Sorry for pointing out the obvious and possibly preventing you looking a tit with mis-spelt/ wrongly worded tattoo

Forum ettiquite is on the main page. An introduction is only the proper thing to do before asking for favors.

I know that hence my introduction after being on here for 18 months lol But as a possible 1st forum virgin who doesn’t know thier way about is where I was referring to. One of my old forums we had an automatic intro for people so the forum welcomed them and pm’d them a link so they could add thier bit

Bit harsh I feel BIB as not everyone knows forum ettiquite and can push people away with that attitude!

In regards to your question frankiedux – you haven’t said what style, size etc etc personally I’d start looking at something on google searches or the gallery to get ideas

On the other hand, there’s alot of ink out there on people who don’t get it. For many it’s become a statement of fashionable rebellion, no different than buying a Thundercat purse or a hoodie with a skull on it. Sorority girls go into shops and pick flash off the walls, or get quarter sized roses on their ankles. Idiots go down to the local vine street and pay some kitchen magician, some sorta scratcher scum to draw some incomprehensible gibberish on their arm for $15. It’s a show of how naughty and sex and fun loving and easy and rebellious you are, or how hard and thuggish you is. It’s got no passion, it’s all fashion.

It cheapens it, and it bugs the shit out of me.

So you’re not gonna come to understand tattoos man. You either get it, or ya don’t. You either do it for the love, or you do it for the fashion.

I will amuse those people – never slate anyones stuff if they like it I’m happy – kinda nod and smile but atleast I know they’re not proper tattoo fans.

I work in the bike industry so see many wanna-be’s like that – plus having to agree thier pile’o’crap bike is the best thing since sliced bread.

I like a peaceful world and if people are happy with whatever they have who am I to break thier illusion of life as long as it doesn’t harm others. A quarter sized tattoo to one person is a back piece to another!
