Go to a tattoo artist and have him or her design it for you. They’re often called artists for a reason.

To some extent I do agree with your point. I’ve personally tried getting honest feedback on an idea and only when I decided against it myself did I get “Oh good, I hated it!”

I can understand the tattooist not wanting to put that on you, but if you can manage to explain what each part is I’m sure a real tattoo artist could draw you a tattoo to encompass the things you want in it.
