Hi everyone, I just had my 1st tattoo which was around 2 hrs and have already booked my next session in 3 weeks time, which will be from elbow to shoulder. This is going to be around 4hrs for the next session and all kept in black and grey.. I’m really looking forward to having this done but I’m not very good at being patient and waiting for anything, so its going to be a long 3 weeks :rolleyes: 😉

I have some water flowing on the right side of the dragon and flames on the left side of the dragon… cherry blossoms scattered around it… and clouds in amoungst the design and at the top.. and water swirls to finish it off neatly at the bottom by the elbow….all black and grey.
It should look good.
I wasnt sure about the cherry blossoms as 1st… but I have seen some very tuff guys with cherry blossoms…so I dont think its that girly 😉 and it fits in with the Chinese design.
Cant wait to get it finished….thanks for asking and your kind feedback.

very cool mate – yeah plenty of tuff guys have cherry blossoms or Lotus leaves – hell just look at the Yakuza – no one is gonna mess with them HAHAHA

That is a very solid fill and is looking good on the design plan.
I have quite a few lotus blossoms on my backpiece and I think that it would have looked unfinished without it.
Flowers can be used for feminine tattoos but equally for masculine ones as well.
Keep us updated on the progress.

lmao im nearly 19 stone bald headed and have red cherry blossoms and blue ones,no ones took the piss yet!come to think of it ive just had a butterfly aswell:p:p:p:p

Can I ask everyone for your feedback…. on my new design for my next session…. this is my ‘rough drawing’ to help guide my tattoo’ist of what I am after…
My idea is to ‘shade behind’ the flames and water… so the flames and water and cherry blossoms stay white (or skin colour) and the shading is behind it so the whole tattoo doesn’t over power the dragon. This will mean I have some nice detail around the dragon without a lot of heavy black filling in… and the main areas left blank/unfilled.
Here’s the idea…
think marc is one of the newer guys there isnt he 🙂
