What do you like? Personally I’d maybe add some flowers, swirls and colors, and thus make it perhaps 2-3x bigger.

The reason why they look solid black is because the picture was probably taken literally minutes after it was done… when there is barely any skin over the ink and the scar tissue hasn’t formed around it. Your body will always expel droplets of ink during the healing process. That’s most likely what it is.
