I think the artist has used a mixture of scalpel and cautery method to seal the wound in. The roughness of the edge would imply a large amount of heat has been used as there is branding spread on the scar tissue.

The second (Julie’s Tattoos) was much better in comparison.

I would recommend Evil From The Needle in Camden they are very good and reputable tattooist.

I have just started my backpiece and i won’t lie it hurt like a bastard!

I will be glad to get the rest of the outline done so I can stop grinding my teeth. Near the armpit was particulary bad for me and when he went directly over the spine area.

That said they are always worth it at the end.
