If the tat was completely healed before you got bleach on it then you need to watch for allergic reactions like if you spilt it on your hand. My advice is run under plenty of cold water and wipe clean. Don’t rub your eyes afterwards either.
If the tat is not healed you need to get a damp cloth and gently clean the area – do not rub or scratch or…[Read more]

Hi
Alternately you could have a background built around the dove such as clouds, branchesm rainbow etc and have the extra names added into the background so that they form part of the structure of the tattoo. It would require some planning on space for the tattoo so it does not looked cramped. Otherwise you could perhaps add another memorial…[Read more]

Welcome to the board Jakob.
I am a big fan of japanese art so if you ever want to swap ideas or just generally discuss the culture art thing that would be great.
Gratz on the weight thing I have been forever been up and down on my weight but I never let it get me down and if I get annoyed with ppl I can always just sit on them! 😉
Hope you…[Read more]

Was just thinking about your first tattoo idea.
Have you checked out any of the warhammer and warhammer 40k artwork? They have a stack of demonic/warrior/chaos space marine art that might inspire you. There is also a lot of fan-art with the black library (who are the book publishers).
Other places to try might be deviantart or the graphic artist…[Read more]

No probs!
A couple of shops that caught my eye whilst I was in Orlando were;
http://www.ascensiontattoo.com/ant_home.html – these guys do some great ink. I especially liked their portrait work.
Also http://www.inkredibleink.com/Artist.htm – These tend to do more New Wave and trad flash work but again might reach yopur personal tastes.

In answer to your question yes it can be done.
But.. (Aint there always :D)
The skin has to be left to heal for at least 1-2 years because I have had the graphs and the epidermis is actually much weaker and needs to ‘shed’ several times to ensure that it has taken properly.
If you try too quickly it tears and leaves you with some…[Read more]

Hi,
A tattoo on the wrist is something that needs to be carefully considered as regards to your work/career.
Many people and sadly employers do not take kindly to tattooing and would insist that you keep them covered if dealing with the public.Other issues to consider is the name – is it somebody you will be atatched to forever? You have to…[Read more]

lol my bad sorry 😮
I just wandered in dunno I took Blainer as female – just goes to show I should check before I type.
You dont tend to have much change on ribs – well upper part but as scrubmuncher stated it can be a hard part to tattoo so make sure they get it lined up right.
Ok before I dissappear back into my pit of embarrassment – good…[Read more]

Hi. I think it would be a bit of a minefield for somebody to say hey use X clinic simply because if it goes wrong there is a trail of evidence sat there to the person suggesting it.
All the legal stuff aside – tattoo removal is not brilliant no matter where you go. Yes some are better than other but they all take a lot of time, pain, and…[Read more]

Hi Blainer
So you are getting a tat in the language of kings – good stuff 😎
It really is down to the caligraphic style of the writing gaelic is very flowing (almost like elvish in that respect) and I personally would have it as a swirling line (but that is just me)
Placement really depends on how much you want to keep it covered – across…[Read more]

Hey
Just wondering is this ideas for your own tattoo inspiration or are you looking for practice flash?
If it was for your own ideas – why waste 20 bucks?
For a start you could get thousands of tattoo ideas for free from the internet by google image alone.
If you want something different try the art galleries or libraries for books on tattoos…[Read more]

Ducktail
Anything is possible and a decent artist would be able to do it.
That said the geometrics is just not compatible in my opinion – the bottom piece (Aztec??) is a very eye catching piece but is also a complex pattern.
To have that slapped into the star would draw the eye in 2 different directions and may not make for a good tattoo. (Not…[Read more]

I always believed that a good tattoo enhances a person. I personally draw strength from mine knowing that no matter how far away I am from wife I have her on my arm.
My Lion Of Judah gives me the example of the strength that is needed to wade through the bullshit prejudices of others.
What tattoos haven’t done for me was make me immune to the…[Read more]

Actually from your post I saw a tattoo that might take your fancy with the rockabilly scene it is a classic flash called a stray cat.
Check it out I am sure you would enjoy.

Tisca Hi
With regards to the pain thing – yes it will hurt all tattoos do.
How much is subjective to the area you are tattooing and your own personal pain threshhold.
If I had to say a minimum I would say closest is equivilant to being scratched by a cat.
At worst teeth clenching and a bit of eye wiping (but hey I have a body of god – Budda!…[Read more]
