Hey Knighthawk
You holding it all in again?
😀
As for the dirty English liars – that is just pillow talk and you should never believe what we whisper in your ear.
Seriously though I agree with what you are saying – there is no excuse not to learn how to do a job properly especially if it involves BBP’s.
You love something you master it – if…[Read more]

Hi Bear
Q1. Good or bad idea is for you to decide – you want my personal opinion try to avoid stomach tattoos that are large. You can easily gain/lose weight on the stomach and the upper body and arms tend to stay the same and you can have a nice flowing piece on the upper part of your arms and chest.
That said opinions are like arseholes…[Read more]

Hi
Yes it can be read both ways in traditional characters and if you want the name translating my friend worked as translator in HK and mainland China and is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and the trad Chinese.
He has done some name translations for other ppl on here – the main thing is that some modern (western) names only translate into a…[Read more]

Hi Bear
First of all that is a photoshop job not a real tattoo. It is nicely done but that is not real ink and is basically just used as eye-candy on a lot of websites.
If you want a serious piece of tribal like that you need to be measured up properly so that it flows to your body, as you get older your body may change shape.Me I just got…[Read more]

replied to the topic what color ink would go over this color best in the forum Inked Skin 16 years, 10 months ago
Hi
It would have to be something dark if you do not want to lighten the orig tattoo with a laser.
Black, purple or a very deep red may cover the tattoo but that is a lot of ink to cover up.For something that big I would suggest laser lightening or perhaps easier to just rework and add to the tattoo that you have it seems fine in the…[Read more]

Hi BB
Without being disrespectful that tattoo simply has not been done by a pro artist.
My first piece of advice would be to smash the tattoo ‘artist’ in his face repeatedly with his tattoo machine for picking it up and using it.The tattoo really needs either a complete rework by a very experienced artist. The rework however is going to be…[Read more]

Hi Salt
Yes some shedding is to be expected as the skin starts to heal beneath it will flake away the dead skin and scabs above.
Losing a bit each time you put cream on is normal just don’t rub it vigourously or pick at it and it will be fine.Take Care and I cannot wait to see healed pics – damn i have so much ink envy at the moment I am gonna…[Read more]

Hi
The link to your milk frog didn’t work
That said it is possible to get a good shade of pale blue flowing if you have an artist who is experienced in animal portraiture.
The bigger it is the more detail can be fitted into the tattoo – a coaster size will be sufficient for a detailed of them.
I looked up what they were and I can…[Read more]

Hi Brit
Love the ink you have done.
There is so much you can add to it.
There is the floral themes from single petals floating to a trellis of ivy and blooms.
You could go for more stars and stardust tapering from the stars already there.
There is celtic knotwork that could work as a surrounding border.
Just tossing a few ideas out…[Read more]

Hi
If you do go for colour I would advise against too much green if possible it is a monster to keep in the skin as it can blotch and is murder to remove with laser.
That said depending on the size you could have it pretty much anywhere on your body.
If it is your first i would poss recommend the upper arm – it is well padded, easily covered…[Read more]

Hi Deedster
What can I say like most women you don’t ask for a lot do you? 😉
Ok I am joshing but how about this idea.
You could have a set of rosary beads that slowly disolve into the shape of a butterlfy with the italien flag colours as part of the wings.
Just a thought that might combine all of the themes you wanted.

Hi
First of all love the ink there it is very surreal and unique.
To be honest I was tonr in 2 ways over it.The first was to leave it alone – it is a unique stand alone piece.
Then teh second immeidate thought was to add some clouds and abstract cranes in flight to it.
I think this came because the down and centre ink immediately reminded me…[Read more]
