I’ve had reactions to certain shades of red. Tattoo turned out fine, but it took forever to completely heal.

It’s nice if you get a cheap tattoo. The money you save can be spent on laser tattoo removal later on.

Yes, that is correct.

Give it time. Tattoos take three months to heal. You may need it touched up as butt suggested.

I’m not an expert, but my foot tattoo was about an average healing. Trick is a minimal amount of ointment. However Saniderm, or Tatu-Derm, would be an excellent thing for your foot.

Was there anything in particular that four dad had a passion for? Was there something in particular that you and your dad did together?

I would come up with a design incorporating this and with some color, and no text, and cover up what you have. Sorry I’m being blunt, but you can do much, much, better.
