I think Matthew is on to something… I like the idea of white tattoos, but I think they tend to look a bit dull.
But adding silver or blue though…it would still make for a very light tattoo, but would give it some more life.

Why don’t you just take your time, and if you find an image that symbolizes the meaning you want, get that done on your upper-arm? You don’t have to figure it out today 🙂
You can get an image with a banner, or incorperate the word in other ways. I’m sure you’ll figure it out.

Have the artist allowed you to tattoo it? She made it on request for someone, so you should really get both of thems approval first of all.

It’s a pretty drawing, and yeah, you will need to have some size on it in order to bring out all the details. But it could probabuly look good 🙂

I can read some runic, so if you want that, I can always help you out. Runic is actually several different alphabets.
A bit of a variety when it comes to letters etc. But the letters are quite nice.

You could always just do hiroglyfs. If you find one that represents the same as you want?
