I generally don’t like koi tatts, period. This one, I like.

Also, are you sure that its the appropriate kanji? I mean there are several ways to write “brothers” in chinese.

I’m not all that particular about kanji either because its way over done but I’ve got two such tattoos. However, I did have mine done in brush by a calligrapher first before getting it inked on me.

BTW, that is some of the crappiest tatt work I’ve seen from a shop. Guys in prison with homemade machines do better work in their cells.

Wow, I really can’t suggest anything. I choose color according to what it is correctly, in the cultural sense for Japanese folk art.

I was watching TV during all of my tatt sessions. I think because my brains, ears and eyes are distracted, I don’t feel a thing.
