Hey –
I’ve posted here a few times – most of my work is on the left arm shoulder to wrist in two tats, I’m thinking of adding a star to my left elbow – it’ll join the other two together but I want a heads up on PAIN and cost.

ANy input would be much appreciated – you can find pics of the originals on photo bucket

Thanks.

I don’t know about cost, but the elbow was one of the most painful places for me. You would think it would be pretty painless there. It’s also hard to keep color I’m that area for some reason.

Elbow wasnt bad for me. Just felt like something was vibrating really hard on the bone, but didnt feel like a needle. If that makes since

My wrists for some reason have been the worst so far, and its just as my guy pulls the gun off. Talk about burn. Feels like someone lit a match and just holds it on my wrist where he was working.
But Im a wuss, and have no problems admitting it….lol

THis is a question that comes up ALL THE TIME on this site! Pain is relative and it’s different from person to person. It’s going to hurt; do you want the tat or not? If you do than it doesn’t matter how much it hurts, you’ll get through it.

Its not a super painful spot. There is little underlying muscle, so it might feel pinchy. Elbows and knees are prone to some ink fall out, so you may have to get touch ups, but it depends. A bold star should cover the area nicely.

like it was said before, pain is relative to each individual.

And since my relatives are a pain to be around :p ……….. tattoos are a breeze for me.
