It just looks like he’s shaded close to the outline or something. I’m not a tattooist, and I’m not an expert, so I’m not sure. If you just explained your taste to your new tattooist, I’m sure he/she would be able to do what you ask if they’re any good.

My suggestion would be to book in somewhere, after the 2nd, and show her the business card for your booking as a present. That way, if she’s against you getting a tattoo, you won’t have something she doesn’t like in your skin forever, and won’t risk not getting any action for a long time 😀

Why on earth would you ‘need’ to get a tattoo asap?! Tattoo’s need thought put into them, you shouldn’t rush them.

I’m never nervous until I get into the shop, and that hospital clean smell hits me. As soon as the artist starts though, it’s all good.

I’ve got a friend who has tribal done from the top of his shoulder to just above his elbow, and it looks fine as far as tribal goes. It wouldn’t be hard to add onto it later in life, but I’d get what you want done, whatever it is that pleases you.

It’s just that a sleeve is a big piece to get done, and if you don’t have any tattoos yet, then it’s a big jump. I’m not saying go and get a small tattoo first, but it’s something you need to commit to 100% and put a lot of thought into.

Flaking and itching is normal, don’t scratch it though. As for burning like fire, I’m not sure about. I’ve had discomfort for a few days after mine, but never like it was on fire.

I don’t know what you mean by ‘tore off’, maybe tore off the scab and compromised the colour a bit?
A tattoo is pretty deep in your skin, and to use a razor to take it off, you’d end up taking off many layers of skin and do major damage to yourself… Don’t try it.
