My butterfly is more on my shoulder than chest (front) but it is on some of my collar bone and it didnt really hurt at all while getting it done just felt a bit freaky when over the bone .

I think it would depend on the poem , and font styles will make a difference too .

washing it with mild soap is fine and when mine was healing and itching i would give it a little wash to stop the feeling of needing to scratch at my arm :rolleyes:
as long as you do not soak in the bath and go swimming or in the sea a little water wont fade your tattoo.

i used savolon while it was peeling and healing because i find bepanthen to be too greasy and i was getting little spots in my ink and i fount that the savolon felt nice and cool which stopped me from wanting to itch my arm off :rolleyes:
once i stopped peeling and the top layer of skin had healed i just used a mild dove cream.

i normally just stick with savolon

i would have it horizontally and in a fancy script .
i would stay away from old english as it will look very dated ! everyone went mad on it in the 90’s
