It really depends on what you want.

Inspiration for art can come from anything (books internet photos etc etc) and your artist can draw up a custom piece.

If it is pure flash you want then joining a flash site cannot hurt.

Depends on whether you want to spend the money or not.

2 weeks is the min for most ppl but can be upto 4 weeks.

No swimming or soaking the tattoo until the surface is fully healed. I would even suggest 6 weeks if you are swimming in an ocean as the salt can really hurt.

I am in agreement personally I would say 21. Gives you time to develop your tastes.

I was in a tattoo studio yesterday and a lad walked in who was covered in really bad ink all over his arms and neck.
