wow, those are awful. Honestly there’s not a single tattoo in Al’s gallery that looks even remotely good. The link work is really shaky, use of color is poor … I wouldn’t let this guy ink me for free.

The best time for that would have been right after getting it. At this point, I think it would be pointless as it would take a heck of a lot of tanning to fade it enough where it would make a difference.

I’m not feeling the section on the inside of your arm (particularly the “negative fire”), but I like the section on your outer arm.

Could have just been a low blood sugar thing. I discovered that I have to keep myself loaded on sugar throughout my tats. Jolly Ranchers are a good chocie. :p

I would also try to find something to symbolize the quote, rather than get inked with the quote itself, particuarly since none of these quotes are terribly profound or insightful. Better to think it over and wait a bit than get something you want to ink over later.

I like the clock. Looking at your arm, I now know why the artist on my last tat said my arm didn’t seem to get very irritated.

Cabrini Green was a Chicago housing project – known as one of the worst projects in the US. Lot of indoor graffiti and such. 😀
