I had a German Shepherd that my parents gave to me when I was 18, he passed away last year after a long 14 year life. Been thinking about a memorial tattoo.

No pets at the moment since we live in an apartment, might get a dog when my daughter is a bit older.

I don’t think that the crap tattooists are that big a problem.

You would need a very talented artist to pull if off well in my opinion, but then that goes for most tattoos really

Biomech and text? that’s gonna be different…
Maybe if you had it as the current wording written on something which forms part of the biomech, but you’d have to go way, way bigger with the overall tattoo and, IMO, it’d look crap, Biomech and text are poles apart.

Why the hip? seems a slightly unusual placement, upper arms etc are easily covered if you don’t want your ink on permanent display

If you’re not totally happy with the design of your tattoo, NOW is the time to do something about it!
Speak to your artist about getting it enlarged if you want it bigger, you need to be completely sure on it before making it permanent.
