Measured it, it is about 1.5″ at the longest from point to point.

And, yes, there is a big difference between covering a brand new black tattoo and a heavy faded, 12 year old tattoo. I` m sorry that you dont get the answers you want Catlin, I really hope that things work out with your tattoo.
