I’m not real big on tribal unless it is big bold bad ass tribal. Looks like you have a good start, I like the idea of extending it.

Kinda off topic, but some of my favorite tribal is Kerry King’s.(guitarist for Slayer for you non-metalheads.)

I always show mine off to everybody right away. Partly because I am excited and partly so everybody gets a chance to see it before it starts peeling and looking crappy until it finishes healing. My last few have been on my lower arms though and I hardly ever wear long sleeves so everybody gets to see them, peeling and all!

Kinda reminds me of how men that have been with a lot of women is normal, but women that have been with a lot of men are looked down on and called names. Maybe the people calling them names are just jealous?

I like it. Always cool to see tats that have meaning behind them.

You are getting stabbed hundreds of thousands of times with needles at high speed to have awesome (hopefully) art on your body for the rest of your life.

The small amount of pain is worth it. 😀

Nice, I’m really getting into the bold lines too.

My new artist is big on bold lines, and I’m really digging it so far. (See my thread for start of my new one <–shameless thread self promotion)

I always tip. Usually $20-$40 depending on size/time of tattoo. Especially with custom pieces.

Happy artists do better work. 😀

I’m interested in seeing what everyone else does too.

The shop I go to has a “base price” of $120 an hour.

But I’m sure that varies A LOT from shop to shop and depending on where you are at.

Like Knighthawk said it really depends on detail, color(s), size, mood of the artist that day, weather conditions, price of the tea in china, etc., etc..

You will have nice colorful pieces of dead skin come off, that’s normal.

If it washes out too bad, you should be able to go back to your artist and have him touch it up for you.
