depends on the area. my arm, i fell asleep. my foot, my toes wouldn’t stop twitching and it hurt like hell. my legs, it feels like a bad burn.
and yes, when my guy is done, i’m on a high for awhile afterwards. strange.

if you’re showing your ink, i’m going to look. and when you notice me, i want to talk about it. if i don’t want people to see, or comment about mine, i cover it up. and that’s part of the reason i’ve put it where it is – so i can cover it.
all my work is custom, and i love it. and i love to brag about it.
i just don’t like the nasty stares from folks looking down their nose at me. my ink is weel done, and pretty much g rated. i’m not a biker scumbag because i have a couple pieces of art permantly on me.

my artist tends to give me a really good rate. so, i have to guess what he would charge you. i know he does charge $200 a sat afternoon’s worth of work. and i never take saturdays.

i’ve asked and been asked who did my work, or who did theirs. but how much? none of your business. ask me if the guy is reasonable. ask me what he would charge them for a piece of similar size. but asking how much i spent on ink, etc is just like asking me how much money i have. ain’t happening.

every tat i have, i brought in the pic, or had him change a piece i seen. all my stuff is custom. the only one that’s borderline is a sun/moon that i copied from a tile i bought in sicily.

dude, why are you asking us? honestly, so if you don’t like it, you can blame us instead of yourself? it’s your body, your saying. if i told you to put it across your butt cheeks, you’d be mad. but that may be i’d put it. ๐Ÿ™‚ we’re all different.

every artist works at a different pace. some are fast and lousy. others are slow and lousy. no one can say.
side is a hard, very painful area. 1 – 2 breaks? unless you have the other side done, you really don’t know how you’ll do with the pain.
why do you want a tat someone else has?

no swimming for 3 weeks sounds about right. but no cardio? doesn’t make sense. i’m located in maine, and folks around here work hard for living. so no cardio for them would mean no work.
and remember, when keeping it covered with goo, etc. a little is good. a lot is bad.

ah youth. remember the days when i knew everything, and honestly thought i DIDN’T care.
and then old age creeps along, and i learn how little i really do know.
it may not be right, but it is what it is. people look at you different for certain tats. and certain jobs will not hire you because of the way you look. (hooters, here in the states, is well known for only hiring big breasted women. tiny need not apply). they want tats covered, jewelry removed. and if you want the job, you comply. if not, look elsewhere. and going hungry is only fun for a little while.

first off, bad location for being 18 and wanting your first ink. can’t cover it up very easily.
2nd. you have no clue what you want. you want it because all the cool kids have ink.
i was 40+ and retired from the military before i got my first ink. and honestly, not a bit sorry i waited. i now have over 6 and love everyone of them. at 18, i would have regretted what i got then, compared to now.

some folks have no problem with the pain of the tattoo on a foot. me? thought i was so freaking tough (retired navy) i could handle anything. i thanked all the gods in the heavens when the artist put some numbing cream on it. ๐Ÿ™‚
but that was a few years ago, and i still love the ink.

if you think you’ll be happy with it 30 years from now, go for it. your skin, and money ๐Ÿ™‚
