Hi
First of all that is a very nice cross and I have sen a few of similar styles.
The main issue is the smaller you go the more it has a chance of blurring with age and risk becoming a blob if too small.
If you have small forearms I would recommend somewhere bigger to ensure the tattoo is not cramped – you will need plenty of space especially…[Read more]

replied to the topic Does Anyone know what this tattoo symbolizes? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 16 years, 7 months ago
Hi
That is a very powerful thunderbird symbol however it seems to be missing the usual snakes that were held to make lightening.
This is nothing major as there are many variations of the thunderbird’s description.
I think this could be a picture of singular thunderbird as believed by Nuu-chah-nulth tribe but there are other beliefs where it was…[Read more]

Hi
If the tribal is across your shoulders can you not use this as a top border and incorporate the design into it?
You could have ivy leaves, barb wire, death lillies (these are like normal lilles but tend to have more jagged edges and sometimes fanged stamen) or anything you want really wrapping around the tribal and then around the edges…[Read more]

Hi
You would possibly have to tribalise (not the exact word but closet I can think to the lower pic style) the buffalo slightly so it has the same line make up/style as kokopelli so it flows as one tattoo.
My thought was why not have music notes rising from the bass guitar and then forming the shape of the buffalo from the music.

Just a quick update
The second sitting was 3 hours with 2 five mins break.
The whole of the tiger has been added, rest of the waterfall and around 300 scales done on the dragon have been outlined.
It was really painful especially near the edges of my back where it touches the rib cage and across the kidney area.

I will post up the pics but…[Read more]

I love the concept and I am sure it will make a great piece.
I would suggest looking at victoriana art as many of these had a scope for skeleton-elegant art.Take Care

Hi
Depends how you want to go with it.
Irish culture you could have the four leaf clover, rainbows, chest of gold, leprachauns, or star dust.
Alternatively you could have something in the form of lucky charms on a bracelet which means a lot to yourself.
By old irsih writing do you mean Gaelic?

Hi Al
Whilst I know everybody feels pain differently – you must have shins of iron. ๐ฎ
I take my hat off to you but personally I don’t think I could handle a shin tat and just say it was ok.I’d be crying like a baby most likely ๐
