I gotta agree with Scrubmuncher on that one.
Having something like that can be a real turn off for a variety of reasons and if it is visible it will hinder your job prospects.
I am all for getting tattoos of things that you believe in – I got a Lion of Judah and that alone has caused issues with other ppl. Takes some spine to sport controversial…[Read more]

Dang
I would suggest that you look through google images of seascapes, visit art galleries or even take a stroll along the ocean front to get an idea of what you want.
Inspiration is the key – you know it when you feel it!

I like the above idea – good concept for a tattoo actually.
My suggestion is get the heart and in the centre have the tags running as a necklace from the top and the tags engraved with a diamond.
Just a small variation.
Good Luck

replied to the topic Pics Of My Throat Tattoo 😛 in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 17 years, 9 months ago
Myself I wouldn’t get a throat tattoo. I have been in too many countries and jobs where it simply is not worth the hassle.
I had a few bricks chucked at me in Israel and got into a nasty barfight because they took offense at my Lion of Judah. People are funny about it.
Personally I am not ripping on your tattoo – if you like it and want it there…[Read more]

You are worrying waaaay too much. Man I hate pain. I used to be the sort of guy who would faint giving blood.
If I can get two big tats without crying you should breeze yours. Get a small one see how you cope with it 9which you will) and then can always add to it.

replied to the topic Tattoo and Laser in one studio, does it work? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 17 years, 9 months ago
Well my thoughts are this (and yes I know it don’t count for much lol)
The basis of it as a client I have to feel I can trust the artist to do work I am happy with.
If you have a decent client based because you are a decent tattooist then tattoo removal would work well for you because;
The client knows that you are capable of doing good ink so…[Read more]

replied to the topic Tatoo on a guy's ankle = feminine? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 17 years, 9 months ago
Never really thought about it – any tattoo can look masculine/feminine it depends on the tattoo.
For example some of the clients I have are women who have tear drops, skulls, and cut along the dotted line of faces and throats. Trust me that aint feminine looking.
A few guys I know have roses or fantasy pixies unicorns which i always say is a…[Read more]

I have worked in a few places and just about all had a serious zero policy to ink.
My advice is get em where you can keep em covered – be a few mroe years before attitudes will change in work place about tattoos (sadly).Matthew

Hi
First of all don’t panic about it. That just leads to needless worry and illness.
When you say peeled it off is this the scab which is supposed to flake away or are you saying that the ink has lifted from the skin?
Also when you get a tattoo you should let it breathe after the intial bleeding has stopped.
My advice is keep it clean and…[Read more]

Hi
First of all I don’t think the idea is dumb – I have seen many pin up girl tattoos that are well depicted and look well on the person. (Personally not my thing but brings me to my next point).
It doesn’t matter what we think – it is your body that it is going on. You have to ask yourself – do I really really, really, want this tattoo?
I say…[Read more]

replied to the topic Guys, what would you think of a girl that has these tattoos? in the forum Tattoo Questions and Experiences 17 years, 9 months ago
Well my grandfather always used to say stay away from women with spider and dice tattoos but I reckon that was more his very Russian upbringing and view on tattoos :D.
I personally never think any less or more of a person who has tattoos – we have them because they make us happy – if other ppl like that is a bonus – if not who cares.

I would strongly recommend speaking with a dermatologist before using any creams that supposedley fade tattoos.
It goes back to the ‘if it sounds too good to be true – then it is’. Many of these creams contain steroids that dissolve the skin but don’t remove the pigment and leave you looking messed up. I would save your money to be honest.

Can’t draw for shit so sorry no help on design.
Best way to find a decent tattoo shop is to look around on the internet in your area view their portfolio’s of work done – visit the shop(s) check that they are clean and sterile and ceritificated (if appropriate). Check their work done folders.
I cannot underline the checking for sterile…[Read more]

There is an argument that some inks contain toxins which means you should have breaks between tattoos but to be honest as long as there is no infection or medical issues you should be able to get another tattoo on your arm straight away.

What I don’t get is why ppl would get a tattoo off this freak even if was £20 bucks – you wouldn’t pay to stick your hand in a jar of dirty needles.
Those ppl really needed to have ‘born to lose’ tattooed on their noggins as they really have no concept of safety.

Ok great tat.

I know I am 31 and sad to admit but clowns scare me.
