If the tattoo is on the ribs should be fine as little movement there.

If you lose weight too rapidly and end up with ‘folds’ in the skin (not likley with 25 pounds loss but don’t go starving self) you can stretch the tattoo.

If you reacted badly to henna my advice is get yourself to a dermatologist before you even consider getting some ink done.

It sounds like you maybe hypersensitive to pigments and since the contents of inks can vary I would not risk it until you can isolate why you reacted so badly.

The arm is not shaded in a tattoo sense because in the ink on the comics it is a more subtle white.

Other thing is that artist rarely does fingernails so if you may want to consider getting the artist to add more detail.

Again personal choice but you could consider this;

Have the words going across your back the rightway round but then beneath the letters as a drop shadow effect have it reading backards.

This will give a mirrored effect and I think would look pretty nice.
