Do not go to that guy. The first pic on his slide show of the Maltese cross is terrible. The lines are very bad.

I recently had my first lower half tattoo right above my left knee. Pain isn’t an issue. The only issue I had was I kept thinking I was going to kick my artist in the nuts from my reflexes of tattooing soo close to my kneecap. But I kept it in check. It healed great no problems.

I would say no to both if the tattoo is new. If its completely healed I’d say go for a massage. Never use a tanning bed with tattoos. Its counterproductive.

+1 let artist do it. Don’t sweat the details. I’ve never had an artist take 10 minutes to shave off an area. But then again I’m not a gorilla. Getting tattooed is pointless if your gorilla hair is going to grow back and cover it up.
I think all you need to do before a session is the day of, eat a good meal and bring a bottle of water.

I was looking at Kelly doty’s work the other day saying to myself “this stuff looks amazing” but I wouldn’t have it tattooed on me. I’m definitely a black and grey kinda guy but I think some of this new stuff is jaw dropping.

How was the lc9 out of the box? I’ve been thinking about getting my wife one but she doesn’t do range time often. Any feeding or ejecting problems? HP rounds? Breakin period?
