i would have to say it all depends on if your any good or not

sounds like itsd in a place that will get irritated anyway. If your tat is on a natural crease line in your skin you might expect it to feel sore but as sharp shorty said if the swelling etc lasts more than a few days then ask a doctor to take a look at it and possibly get some antibacterial cream to sooth it.

i worked in and around tattooists for quite a while and i have to say i dont know anyone who has ever had a really bad problem with a tattoo.

Piercings sure i have seen ears need to be cut down and nipples go crusty etc but its an open wound which is more prone to infection.

my first job in a tattoo parlour consisted of scrubbing the floors with bleach every morning before cleaning down all the counters and ensuring everything was as clean as i could get it before the shop opened.

i have heard of so many different ways that this can be done but never heard of the results.
