ive always showered as per normal,
the first 3-4 days i wash it with moisturising soap and warm water 2-3 times a day aswell as normal showering. dont scrub it or anything just let the water do its thing.

has to be depth i rekon. mine are quite bright but do fade a tad when they peel as expected but thats mental!
