If I was you I would dry heal them.(use no ointment or lotion).I know I’ve asked you this before but how do you do your dry heal…do you start with ointment for first few days and then go dry or do you not even use any ointment or lotion at all from the start ? And overall you’ve had good success right?

Be careful, tattoos may appear fully healed after a couple of weeks but generally you need at least a month to be safe.

Highly unlikely you’re going to get this done in one sitting, and I’d guess he’s somewhere around 150/hr or more. Once in a while an artist may do a multiple sitting piece over a few day period (convention, guest spot situation) but they usually prefer not. And despite what you think is a high pain tolerance when you’re sitting in one place for…[Read more]

Like you said it’s still healing so you’ll have to wait and see but it’s not uncommon for areas of solid black (or maybe other colors, too) to heal and fill in unevenly. I had to have a touch up on the blacks on my first tattoo due to some similar issues. Actually some subtle streaking may not be bad depending on how it looks, it may add a little…[Read more]

Like they said above, it’s all about doing your research and finding the right artist for the style of tattoo you’re thinking of. You can even pitch your ideas to a few and guage their reaction and see who’s really into it. And if they’re unwilling or incapable of drawing something up, chances are you’ll want to go to someone else anyway. One…[Read more]
