My situation is a little different in that my tat is being done by two artists.

When I had my linework done, I tipped my normal $20 and let them split it. I didn’t know what else to do.

Going back this friday to get it finished!! Woohoo!

I think it is just difference in preference between different artists.

For instance my new artist is into thick bold linework, and I think it looks awesome. The lining on my new tat is 2-3 times as thick as my other tats.

Have you thought about adding any color?

Even it is just a little, sometimes just a spot or two on a black and grey piece really makes it pop.

It may not make as much of a difference on your arm, but my uncle got a tat of an eagle going all the way across his chest when he was 16. Now it is a lot smaller b/c he grew so much after getting the tat.

I like it. Those letters look badass. So much better than the standard issue old english stuff that everybody and their brother has.

That is the only way I like tribal, big and bold like that. I don’t like small tribal pieces.

Just go to your artist with that picture and he can hook you up with what you want and change it up a bit for you.
