Just to give some brief family history, I kind of would like to get something to represent this part of my family.
My grandfather was a Jew in Nazi Germany. He saw what was going to happen in Germany and decided that he needed to leave. His parents were not going to come with him. He left for Haiti from Nazi Germany when he was 18 where he met my grandmother. He had to stay in Haiti for ten years before he was able to come to America. He moved to Miami with only $5 in his pocket and he ended up being very successful. However, his parents and his sister were killed by Nazis and he didn’t see his brother for 40 years. I’m not Jewish, I’m a christian but I would like something to reflect this story.
wellllll, some sort of anti-nazy thing sounds appropriate? haha. other than that, no ideas =P
There is only one choice:
Captain America kicking Hitler in the nuts.
Love. Peace. Metallica.
Get the quotation from “American History X” on your side or something.
“Hate is baggage.”
I think it would be sweet, but that’s just me.

Hi
I was forunate that some of my family escaped from Russia and Germany but most of them got offed by Hitler in the camps.
Out of 14 brothers and sisters only my Grandfather survived and my Grandmother was the only survivor of 9.
As for a tattoo there are several design concepts you could use;
One common symbol is a burning candle that has barbed wire wrapped around it but where the wax has melted so has the wire – showing a gradual escape from the past and the light is hope for the future.
You could have an interfaith tattoo (check out messianc jews) which is a star of david with a cross within the centre.
Anotehr idea is to get the 3rd Goblet (cup of redemption) possibly have Romans 8:14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. or perhaps Romans 8: 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
I have a few other ideas but would need to know your tastes.
