Making it full black would ruin it, and you can’t just change the color of the text from black to red/white. Nothing covers black, but more black 🙂

It isn’t blurry.. it simply isn’t there. There is no picture.

I’d say go for a very small one as your first, somewhere that can be easily hidden and where you wouldn’t mind having a bunch of scars if the worst-case scenario came to pass. If that small one goes well, chances are that you’ll be fine.

Above all, get a good artist and one that doesn’t mince your skin into hamburger meat.

It may be a silly idea, but that’s actually a very good tattoo. I like the expanding symmetry as the arm gets thicker the higher it goes.
