Hi
Have you considered looking at some surrealist paintings?
You could have the flower take on a surrealist edge such as the lower forming the shape of say a butterfly, bee, mermaid within the petals.
The petals could be melting into small coloured drops.
Just an avenue that would make a standard floral theme more unique.Take Care

Hi Paris
Some nice ink you have had done.
I will be honest I only have a partial idea of what you want;
A possible floral tattoo just below the armpit.
This in itself is not enough – to give you suggestions for a wow tattoo we need more info.
What is the style you want? Floral, fantasy, biomech etc
Colour or black n shade?
How big?
Does…[Read more]

Hi Mark
I am a mixed on the subject of tattoos and meanings – three of my tattoos have meanings to myself and are just extension of how I feel.
Two are about the love I have for my wife and one is my pride in my jewish heritage.

Hi
It depends on the size style and whether you want to add to it.
For example if you are going for a major size cross I would centre it that way you can build a further tattoo that flows around it.
If it is smaller I would suggest chest legs or upper arms – tattooing is addcitive and you don’t want to spoil such a large potential canvas (your…[Read more]

Hi
I was wondering if you were gonna test the ribs :p
I hear it really pains – specially if you are slim as it is right on the bone.My suggestion would be chest, bicep or tricep. try and leave the back you may want a backpiece in the future. 😉

Hi Skrangle
That is a nice concept but you need a pro artist to do it some justice.
The dragon needs to look more fearsome – I am sure that it can be tweaked to your own specification.Post up when done.

Hi
I am gonna ask a real dumb question – can you not wear long sleeves? Who will care about your tattoos when on the ground in combat?
The laser treatment on those sizes is going to be a lot of money. The sessions can also be a month or more apart so you will not see any immediate effects. The pigment slowly breaks down.
You would be lucky to…[Read more]

Hi Nik
First 2-3 days you need to let it scab over just clean it and gently pat dry – it won’t hurt to add a small amt of antiseptic (just anough for a thin layer for 1-3 days).
Once it has sealed it will stop oozing and firm up.
Then apply moisturiser – when the skin starts to flake expect small flakes of coloured skin to lift as it sheds – do…[Read more]

Hi
You can do it now but may sting – personally I would go cautious and leave it another week.
Also you want to be using a guard razor as opposed to disposables – nothing like tearing a new tatt shaving.Take Care

Hi
Just to clarify it really depends on the skin, pigment and what is contained within the inks.
Some black inks have heavy metal compounds that are a bastard to breakdown so take major treatments. It also depends on the type of laser used , frequency and how bothered about scarring you are.
I have know ppl have a tattoo taken in 8 sessions and…[Read more]

Hi Kiri
Fresh water will be fine as long as you don’t pick or scrub at the tattoo or use abrasive chemicals – stick to unscented soap and pat dry.
Try wearing silk shirts or tops – it keeps you cooler and wickers sweat away from the body.

Hi
I have seen a tattoo that had the initials worked into the feathers – it was done by discreet shading from grey to black so that the black edges would form the initials.
As for the ex-g/f’s hmm I would say think carefully on that bit – the lad I knew with that tattoo ate a shotgun. (Not saying you will but it takes bras balls to carry so many…[Read more]

Hi Skrangle
You want a chest tattoo over your pectoral (I was confused at first with you saying boob).
My serious advice is don’t rush it – that ink is on for life.As for designs first of all we need a little bit more information;
