The good is that I nearly choked laughing – that is one damn funny tattoo.

The ‘bad’ which is not that harsh is that I would def go over the chicken word again and make it bolder – looks a little washed out.

Then I would also just re-line the cleaver a little and the eyes on the chicks.

I have seen many music tattoos and your are to be honest better off just getting the treble and notes rather than the bars as well, unless you are willing to go for some thicker lines.

This stops them from fading and blurring.

They do make great tattoos especially if you are a serious music fan.

It is possible to have your head tattooed and not damage the hair follicle because the root of it is in the subcutis which is well below the surface where the ink is deposited.

This means that your hair will continue to grow through the tattoo normally.

Well if it doesn’t go down in the next 24 hours I would suggest some anitbiotics it could be that your skin is still settling but if it still feels;

Gets bigger
Starts to weep
Bruising

Get your arse to a Dr asap. As it is it may settle down by itself.
Don’t worry so much just keep a wary eye on it.

Lots of things you could have;

A rocks and waterfall scene with a fisherman at the bottom.
Wind or water demon driving the water current up your arm.
Bathing geisha or samurai.
Floating lotus flowers.
Dragonflies and butterflies skimming over water.
Cherry blossoms flying through the air.

These are just a few that spring to mind.

The only thing I would say about the tattoos is that the shield is way too plain.

That is the centre piece and the edges could do with thickening and more scrollwork or emblem adding to it so it stands out as a proper shield.

Is there any motto or script you would like above or below?

No you will be ok the tattoo will move with the skin which has a certain amount of ‘stretch’ like elastic as it has to breathe and move with the muscles.

The ink will bunch with skin movement but it is not perm as will relax back into the normal shape.

If the tribal is what you are after then there are thousands of sites that pictures of it and any decent artist would be able to draw up from the picture an interpretation of the tattoo.

The same can be said for the skull sleeve.
