where are you based in the world? buttwheat is very good at finding the right artist for the job.

Laser Removal works well on black ink so you could quite possibly lighten it substantially and then have a coverup tattoo larger than the original scorpion. that way you dont have to integrate it at all into a design if it doesnt fit naturally.
Also if your not happy with it you may as well remove it if you can and have something you love instead

I dont think we have any posts specifically on white over black ink oin here. more specifically because we dont allow a lot of talk about application of tattoos from an artist point of view in the main forums.
But we have artists who may have done it in the past so was asking them.

I think that will be sweet! I totally agree with buttwheat, find the right tattooist. I went to someone who did more new school hoping he could pull off a more “in between” realism and new school crazy cartoon and only got an okayish tattoo (IMO).
