It’s fine to change artists, unless the one who’s working on you now is actually a Hell’s Angel trying to start up his tattooing career, and threatened to break your legs if you went to another tattooist 😉

Not having a go at you, but it sounds like a typical 16 year olds choice of tatt.

There’s no cutting involved in removing a tattoo, it’s a laser, which can leave a scar, is expensive and apparently hurts.

Tattooist’s technique aside, I think it’s a sweet design though – three things I want in my next tattoo – flames, a cobra and a pool ball.

I’ve had my last two sessions done on a Friday afternoon/night, then played footy the next day (not soccer or gridiron, you get hit and tackled mighty hard in it though) and the tattoos ended up fine. I covered them, but I didn’t get a direct really hard hit on it though…

There was a spot near my collarbone on the front of my shoulder that didn’t hurt a bit. It honestly felt like something was vibrating on my skin.

After a short session with the latest tattooist I’ve been going to, I have to say that a lot of the pain you’ll feel when getting tattooed also depends on your artist’s technique. When I had my back shaded, it hurt quite a bit. When I got my chest shaded with the new artist, it didn’t hurt anywhere near as much, even directly on the collarbone.

You can always visit some tattoo artists and have them design a font suited to your body shape.

You’d want the lines to be fairly thick, if you want it covering your whole back. Most artists charge by the hour, not the colour of ink used. I’m an Aussie too, and most artists in my area charge roughly $110 an hour.

In terms of the artist tattooing an 18 year olds face – have you seen the guy? His whole face is one big tattoo and piercing. Looks shocking too, can’t blame the dad for being angry at her, but she shouldn’t have lied about it.

Corey’s got that old school tattooist sort of appeal, and some amazing talent, so i’d probably go with him as well. Yes, i’d love Kat Von D’s hands on me too :p
