On a side note. Avoid more large script. Its hard to incorporate into sleeves. I know a guy that has nothing but script everywhere. You can literally read everything you need to know about him. Where he’s from kids names wife’s name birthday area code. I told him to tattoo his ss number on his forehead.

Personally I’m a b&g guy. So I’m biased. But since your other work lacks color I would say stick with it. Added pic to previous post.

I’d say filigree and stars. A bunch of stars. Maybe a nice wrought iron fence design.
maybe something like this. But with more flourishing.

If your already heavily tattooed is say go for it. Hands IMO should be last.

I expected a bit more feedback. Anyways. Its healing nicely. I have to get it finished on my next apt because my artist has to have surgery on his stretching hand. He’s going to be out for 3-4 months. I’m hoping another 4-5 hours and I can take a break. getting tattooed on every other paycheck gets taxing when you do 3-5 hrs each time.

My problem isn’t with the subject. Its with the fact that he wants 4 portraits by someone who isn’t great in general. Let alone portraits. But your right its really none of my business. Who am I to say anything negative about another grown mans decisions about what is or isn’t a good tattoo or artist. If he asks my opinion ill tell him.

I think they’re both pretty good. Just go with the one whose style fits your vision better.

There are a couple things to consider when talking about an artist free handing it.
I let my tattoo artist freehand most of my work now. Unless its something iconic like a fiend skull or something like that.
