And for me its different from everyone else.
I dont do anything to mine aside from washing twice a day for the first 2 days or so until it starts to get scaly and slightly dry looking.
After that i just apply lotion a few times a day as needed. Im generally done by day 7. And a month for the shine to leave. -

Im really starting to think youre trolling. Did you just decide to get tattooed one day out of the blue and seriously know absolutely nill about the process?
I think its a good thing that you didnt go to a good artist cause you would certainly have messed it up.
No offense.
Is it really that difficult? Keep it clean, keep it moist, keep it out…[Read more]

I have the “itch” bad. But i have convinced myself to wait for a caliber of artist and not fill up with average.
Its tough. -

Well the way i see it is this. You gata ask yourself do you want to kill prime realestate with subpar artists at 18 or wait and save your money till you can afford the artist thats 6 hrs away?
I realise thats its too late for that but it bugs me when i see teenagers with sleeves ironed out with bad work. I dont mean you i just mean in…[Read more] -
replied to the topic do a stink smell mean your tattoo is infected in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 13 years, 2 months ago
A&d is unnecessary. And like someone else said it doesnt allow air to reach the skin which aids in preventing infection.
In the same way it traps the plasma. Also. Dove soap is neither antibacterial nor fragrance free. Use dial liquid soap in the hand dispenser. It is antibacterial and comes fragrance free. Stop using the a&d and switch to…[Read more] -

If you are seeking a portrait and are dramatically changing your body type then i would suggest waiting. The drop in weight combined with the increase in musclemass is going to push and pull your skin. The last thing you want is a skewed portrait of your beloved father. Just my .02 cents.

To the OP, it will take just as long to heal the touchup as the original work. The “slimy” stuff is a mixture of the ointment the artist used and plasma.
Just use fragrance free antibacterial hand soap, be gentle. Just dont overthink the process.Paying for the needle is dumb. The artist obviously isnt interested in repeat business.
Dont go…[Read more]

Skipper or scarborough both are miles ahead of anyone you are currently using.
Being a burlesque dancer you should really take your time finding an artist. Considering your scantily clad by profession you should only use top shelf artists. Good luck on your search for a new artist! Also try looking into local conventions in your area and…[Read more]

Personally, i handle the outline much better than shading. 2 things i really hate. Artists taking smoke breaks, and jumping around when shading.

The good vs cheesy question is dependant upon who is tattooing you. Good artists do good work.
Dont just go to the closest tattoo shop. Take your time and find the best artist you can for the type of piece you want.
Go there, talk to them. If you dont feel comfortable, walk away.
One thing i make a habit of doing is going to the restroom of a…[Read more] -
