What was the actual point in your post then?
There ARE tattoo forums out there that do help people that arent able to learn through an apprenticeship, as long as they’re not DICKS

Hey thats really cool! It would be awesome in print in a frame.

Being an artist is a hard job, mental draining, can be physically draining as well, we have to sit in the same position sometimes for hours….anyone who thinks it’s a piss easy job can think again.
I’m exhausted at the end of my day, and then I have to go home and be a mum, cook, cleaner……and the list goes on

I would hardly think an artist is going to turn you down when you explain that you’re not happy with the work to date.

Good luck, hope whatever you decide goes well for you

Touch-ups are inevitable.
If you didn’t want to get touch-ups…you shouldn’t have gotten a tattoo.
From the shitty images that you posted, I can’t tell if you have blowouts or not…but I do see where the ink either didn’t take or wasn’t properly placed and has indeed fallen out.
Wait two months.
Get a touch-up.
Your artist will likely do it for free.
(You should tip him)

BUT if you are seeing…like a flow of ink along parts of the edge that looks like it follows a vain pattern…that is a blow-out and your artist doesn’t know what the fuck he is doing…get a new one.
(Granted blow-outs happen…and your artist may not be incompetent…but being that you are an ink virgin…he probably is.)

I have to disagree with some of your comments here.
So you say if this person is an ink virgin then thier artist probably is too? RIDICULOUS COMMENT
If an artist is good they shouldnt be getting blow outs and touch ups should be minimal.

Hands are a pain in the arse to tattoo.
This is a stupid image to get tattooed in the first place, and of all the places THE HAND
I cant tell from the images what the problem is because they’re too blurry.
Go ask you artist what the matter is, as any sane person would do if they had a problem

well I dont know your artist, but i wouldnt be happy if it were my arm. When I design sleeves I draw up the full version, so we make sure its exactly what they want. Im doing a sleeve at the moment and every sitting she has we discuss what we’re doing next, that way we’re both happy with the end results.
I think yours could be salvaged, but I dont know if he’s the one to do it?

mmmmmmmmm i’d probly get a wee bit shitty with ya if you decided you wanted roses after we’d agreed on something else. Did he do a design up for you of what you were getting?

With the right linework and colour work you may be able to pull it off………maybe
