I did. Mostly because I have ink by and follow Jime Litwalk. I can’t help but root for him. But you are right. There appear to be some decent artists this year….of course they also have to add the drama of ass artists and those with excuses for everything, but that is to be expected.

It’s not about football (American or English). It’s more about any logo. Baseball, basketball, etc. They are almost always boring because they are a replica of the team logo. I agree with GrayCatLove, but most people that want sports team ink, do not want them to be abstract.

Be creative.

It’s a good thing you came here. Everybody should always start with a shitty cheap tattoo before you can afford a good one. That way you will appreciate a good tattoo later. And when you can actually afford a good one, you will also be able to afford lasering your original shitty tattoo.

Spend some time here and on other forums, and thinking about what you want to put on your body forever.

Deep breath!!!

You started with “Tell me what ya think.”. Now you say, “I like it and thats all that matters.” and “I have got a lot of compliments on it”

You need to make up your mind. Either you want opinions or you don’t care what people think. You can’t have it both ways. Some will like it, some will not; your friends will never give you an honest opinion. They will always tell you it looks great. Here you will get honest opinions.

Maybe you should have started with “tell me what you think, but only if you like it.”

Nice! The pictures might not be the greatest, but it is clear the ink is amazing.

I will only say this –

If your wife is against it, you are clearly creating drama…good luck with that.

A Beatles song that Manson named his crazy “race war” after.

I think Bert’s question revolves around the actual tattooed words. Likely, he knows about “Helter Skelter. However, on the the tattoo, the L and the T are identical. To Bert it looks like Heller Skeller; to me it looks like Hetter Sketter. It is not a well done “portrait”. I am also curious as to why you want Charles Manson.

Maybe your next will be Adolf Hitler?

Welcome to the forum. I am sure you will get differing opinions, but here is mine.

I have found it better to get tattoos in the summer vs. winter. My winter ink has always been more of a healing struggle due to dry winter skin and trying to minimize scabbing, and maximize healing time.

If I get one in the summer, it’s easier to keep the ink uncovered and let the skin start to heal. That works best for me.

Once your scabbing is done, sweating and dirt should not affect your tattoo. Do keep sunscreen on it, and do minimize time spent in the pool.

On your ride home, try not to rub or scrape it too much.

Good luck. Post pictures when done.

I sure hope you are a member of a “How to Wipe your Ass After You Shit” forum.

I seriously don’t think I have ever seen someone so unable to do anything without asking on a forum.

I like how he subtly removed some of the sharp lines in the eagle. The wings extensions and white neck transition also look good. The smoother muted colors look much better. I also like the color contrast between the blue sky and golden desert.

I recall my experience with him, and was actually surprised that you did not comment on his heavy hand on your last visit. He is a great guy AND artist. He is only about a 3 hour drive from me, so I expect to see him sometime in 2013 for some background/filler work.

Question – What is your wife’s next tattoo plan? 🙂

I have tattoos and I love them, but my 16 year old should not have been inked

So, how many parents does this 16 year old have? Kraqr (male, Justin), I assume is the father. According to him, the mother was ok with this. Now, Vale55rie says “her” (I assume based on screen name) 16 year old should not have been inked.

And who is Rooster44?

And what ever happened with the shop, the 16 year old, and what is the tattoo?

Tune in tomorrow for these and more updates on As The Tattoo Turns.

It’s like a damn soap opera.

I am truly curious.

Personally, not a fan. The blocks do not appear to be “block” shaped, and the red (in both the blocks and the dots on top) is not appealing to my eye. The solid black circles are even less appealing. Actually, I do not think there is anything about it that I like. But if you do, good for you.

Additionally, I do not see anything symmetrical.
