your right there is a lot of choice here when it comes to tattoo’s and piercers

Your best off tryin to find out what kind of tattoo you would like and then find your artists based on them specialising in what you want style wise.

lots of tattooists are particularly good at certain types of designs etc.

have you asked your local tattooist to just draw some ideas out in pen for you. you will probably find you wil get some good ideas that way

doesnt look like the fill took very well either so it shouldnt be to hard to cover up if needed
