No it was the one done of my wife.
As this was done freehand it took a lot longer as there was no pre-drawn stencil.
The Lion was done from a pre-drawn stencil but took around 5 hours with one 5 min break

Hi
My potrait was a free hand that took just under 8 hours and we had 2 15 min breaks on top of that.
It was fine and the arm area is very bearable. You need a high carb meal prior and plenty of fluids throughout.
The bruising does go down so don’t worry.
If you get stuck they can always halve the session there is no shame in that. (Which I am…[Read more]

Lol 😀
Don’t confuse want with reality. :p
To be honest this back tattoo is knocking the shit out of me. 🙁
I ended up having a saline drip because I was bleeding so much from the last sitting and the swelling has still not gone down from nearly 3 days ago.
My back is covered in bruises looks like I have been beaten across the kidneys – not…[Read more]

Hi
I have been for a week – by places to go what are your interests?
We hit a lot of jazz bars and some museums and tattoo studios. To be fair it is not like the night life like say in Miami but some interesting spots depends what youa re into.

Hi
It is all relative to the speed you do it and whether you involve steroids.
Mostly your tattoos will be fine as long as the gains and losses are sensible. As for online inspiration depends what you want doing – I have a number of links and books let us know what you are after and we can point in the right direction.

Hi and welcome
For my work I tend to travel in the uk and abroad.
I have had one piece done in Leeds, Uk, another in LA, and currently backpiece in Dewsbury UK and I have an idea for a chest piece I would like to get done in NZ and a leg piece in Japan.
All of it is time and money though 🙂

Hi
It could work by having the tribal wrapping across the surface of the moon and maybe some small tendrils of tribal flowing from the bottom of the moon to link outwards with an outer border made of tribal.
It would mean dropping the figures down towards your lower spine and just above the waistband but that would just emphasise the dark moon…[Read more]

Hi
To be honest it sounds like you have scar tissue beneath the pigment – did the tattooist really work the area hard because this can create a rough feeling just beneath the skin. (Tattooing is arguably a method of pigment scarification).
It can take 12 months for this feeling to go and will need daily moisturtiser – you will also find it may…[Read more]

Hi Steve
With regards to a portrait – this is one of the hardest questions a person can ask about tattooing because personal taste is so much more pronounced.
A dragon for example tends to follow a certain pattern of style with the artist interpretation but with a portrait the demands are much higher.
When I had my wife’s portrait done it was…[Read more]
