Hi
It is still too early for sunblock as the lower dermis is still healing and as Outlaw says will take 4-6 weeks to heal up fully below the surface which is why it still feels tight on the skin.
Also feel free to ask questions if it was your 2nd, 20th or 200th tattoo – none of us know everything and we don’t learn unless we ask.
🙂

Hi
You have some sweet ink there!
I am a black n shade fan normally but on a phoenix you have you have to go full colour to give that type of tattoo justice.
I would say oranges, yellows, reds for the fire and maybe some sapphire blues.
Looking great.

Hi
Well the actuall tattooing of the name does not better or curse a relationship – it is just ink.
Life and emotions change a relationship or strengthen it.My advice is do not get names of a loved one tattooed just in case you do break up – there is nothing worse than meeting somebody new and carrying the name on your body of an…[Read more]

Hi
I have seen quite a few phoenix tattoos – mostly on women but a few on men.
Both styles tended to be very distinct in masculine and feminine concepts, so I would not worry about that aslong as you get an artist who draws the image you like. They have always struck me as an image of rebirth.
The only suggestion I have is that white ink does…[Read more]

Hi
If on a separarte part of the body you should be fine. You do not want to overwork the skin area.
If you were having a series of extensive pieces done on each tattoo I would advise waiting 2 weeks to give immune system to recover – tattoos are wounds.
That said if it is a small to moderate piece you will be fine.

Hi
I have seen thousands of tattoos but I have never seen one with that combination – not to say there is not one out there.
Because you have a very unique idea I would suggest getting a pro tattoist to draw up what you want from a combination of the dragon and arrow/bow and arrow that you want.
Things to consider are;
Colour of black n…[Read more]

Thanks ppl for the support.
Apparently I have always had it but it worsened over the last 2 years.
I am waiting to see a specialist about it as there is a range of treatments – but clarifying with them they said if I need bone marrow transplant getting tattoed can knock me down the list – same as if I smoke etc.
The main concern seems to be…[Read more]

Hi PB
I am not exactly in great condition but I have started back at the gym on a serious level again.
My advice is before you do anything like pull ups on your door you need to strengthen your core muscles and make sure that your spine is well protected.
This means a lot of stamina work and stretching which will strengthen all muscle…[Read more]

Hi
As Outlaw has said the area have been heavily worked and the scabbing is the result. Itching is a sign of it healing – so no picking at it.
The redness is also quite common but signs of infection are;
Fluid leaking from beneath the scab – this can be clear (first stages) or pus coloured (later stages)
Hotness where it is red like a fever or…[Read more]

Glad to hear you are now open. The other artist sounds like a right twat who is crying because they cannot handle comp from another artist.
I’d love to know how he would handle my city where there is 5 tattooists within a 10 min walk of each other.

Hi
If it had been just average gym training I would have said not to worry.
Looking at the size of you guys in those comps I would say distortion is possible because you are building muscles way beyond the average bulk.
If you get it done big it may be less noticable but consider getting it on your back and likely remain the same.
Also stay…[Read more]
