Terg is right you need a cover-up specialist to stop it looking like a dogs dinner as many older tattoos can shopw through the ink.

My advice is rework the tattoo with a fresh outline and shade and you can always add a celtic or tribal effect around it.

Yes a normal tattooist could tattoo that area but the issue you have is getting the colour to match your skin tone.
That will not be an easy thing to do.
Personally i really don’t see the worry – I am covered head to toe in scars and I don’t worry about it.

Pigmentation differences in the armpit is a lot more common than most ppl realise – mainly it is not commented because ppl do not tend to notice as hair is in the way.

If you feel you can handle it then do so but I always advise ppl that if you are getting stuff done do it in stages because there is always plenty of time.

My first thoughts are it is still healing and may not have fully settled into the skin – takes about 10 days.

That said black light ink is notoriously difficult in getting to stay in the lower dermis and sometimes travels or lumps up – it is not like other tattoo pigments.

That banner can be worked with celtic knotwork or ivy leaves or trellis that would work in black and look better than just blacking it out.

If you just fill it in with black you will ruin the tattoo as it will look like 1. A poor cover up or 2. A unfinished piece.

30 hrs of ink in anybody’s book is a lot to take. Even if you do it in 10 sittings that is the equiv to getting 10 tattoos over a small period of time.

You should leave at least 2 weeks between each sitting.

As for painful it depends on your personal capacity for pain – it starts at a cat scratch upwards to a burning feeling.

Will make a great tattoo but if you are going to mesh them you need a portrait artist who can handle a lot of fine detail and shading.

Alternatively you could get them separate but slightly tilted towards one another and maybe a family motto beneath?

Depends what sort of piercing and how serious it is.
If it is a standard piercing your body should be able to cope nicely with that and the tattoo.
