well the initial back piece is tattooable with no problem at all, and to be honnest i havent seen many pieces like it, you might be lucky if searching somewhere like deviantart website, but if you take a photo or a printout to your artist then he/she will be able to draw it up as a tattooable piece for you.

that all depends on the darkness of your skin

ensure that you have a decent stretch also helps, plus ensure they aint on any medication or taken any asprin before visiting you for work.. 😉

white ink does have a tendancy of fading, this is not the only setback of using it… white does not stand the trials of time in the sunshine and in many cases turns a yellow colour, this can also be caused by the use of stainless steel tubes and tips when the tattoo is being done.

a lot of artists only use white for highlights for these very reasons.;)

if you explain to your artist how you feel then he should understand your predicament, tell him that you like his work but you feel it is taking too long…. if he gets uptight about it then he is only thinking of the money.

thanks for all the kind comments, she is doing real well and is taking it all in nicely. i dont want to swamp her with loads and loads, but more of a let her take it in at her own pace…. she dont stop practice drawing though and would spent 12 hrs a day with pen and paper.

im affraid to say that its a miracle you need not a design, that is some fair piece to try and cover, your best bet might be a few hits with laser treatment first then you can get something nice to go over it, i know laser is quite expensive but the best thing is that black is the easiest and best colour to remove.
