i would recommend http://www.targettattoo.com for designs. they are pretty cheap and have a lot of categorised designs in there.

i would possibly think of blues and silvers if you are going to go with metallic colouring for the piston head

sounds like you have spent a long time thinking about this already.

I really like the idea of trying to incorporate a waterfall into the tattoo. i love water ajnd waterfalls and think if you can get a great artist who could capture that properly it would be great.

to be honest fidning your local tattoo removal expert and getting their advice straight away would be the best option.

sometimes not lewtting the tattoo heal can prevent the ink from sticking as much. i know some people used to pick the scab off as much as possible to remove what ink is there.

yep either kev shercliff or go and see mick in the brownhills shop underground tattoo. both have been tattooing for years.

its more down to the other part of the fragrance which is not alcohol based and is not good to use on damaged skin.

The alcohol is the good bit which will clean and possibly sting a bit. the various chemicals used to make the fragrances are not normally very good at anything except smelling nice.
