Just be extra careful not to pick at it.
If it is bruised…
Your artist probably went too deep. The scab might pull a bit of color out but it shouldn’t be anything a quick touch-up can’t fix.

replied to the topic New tattoo and taking antibiotics, QUESTION!!! in the forum Tattoo Questions and Experiences 16 years, 3 months ago
An antibiotic is actually probably a very good thing…
But I’m no expert.
Really though, as long as it isn’t a blood-thinner (google the medication to check, but I doubt it would be) I assume it would be perfectly fine.

I share that OCD tendency, so I completely understand.
I previously only wanted symetrical tattoos.
My whole body…symetrical…
But I opted out of that plan because I would go APESHIT if it was 1mm off on one side.
Haha. -

Granted.

Olive oil?
If you use plyers…
Be really carefull that you keep the hand holding the actual ring from yanking when the ball is finally loosened.Yanking on a piercing with such force could be a nono.

If the artist working on you is interested in you…it may bother him slightly…
But other than that…
Males find all encounters with the opposite sex; no matter the place, to be suitable flirting ground.I don’t see any harm in it…

Sitting here thinking…
I would think that it could be done, but you might have to change the font of ALL the letters to do so…
Make a more stylized/calligraphy type of font…
That way, the “o” can simply have a sort of swirl in the center…and it wouldn’t be out of place with the rest of the letters.Personally though, I like it the way it…[Read more]

It won’t be much.
I’ll stick with the guestimate of $100.
And as long as the studio you go to isn’t horrible…
They’ll very easily be able to put a new head on there for you.
And they shouldn’t up the price for that…
Part of the money is the custom art.Plus…it’s a pretty simple piece, they would probably take less than 3 minutes to draw…[Read more]

From what I remember about some documentary (maybe the same one strick9 mentione) they are a bit more painful.
BUT…
The shading they can achieve is impossible with a conventional tattoo machine. -

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys!
I’ll be sure to upload a pic when finished…I’m going in to the shop today to set up an appointment.
The earliest would be Friday (payday!) but I’m assuming with his schedule it’ll be somewhere mid-week. -

Naw, I love my old tattoo!
This one is just going to have one bud of life on it, actually.
And Bill and I are both waiting until the next session to put it on in case I decide to put the bud in color… -

But thanks for the bump and I found out “Ancient Ink” was the title of the documentary that focused on trying to find the oldest form of tattooing. - Load More
