I think most people wanting an apprenticeship go about it all wrong. I think if it’s done in more of a professional manner rather than casual, the artists will appreciate it more. Overly zealous fans gets annoying to anyone… Just be real.

Otherwise, you could go into a local shop and tell the artists there exactly why you are there (just to get designs) and tell them you’ll pay them. Some artists will do it, others won’t. Doesn’t hurt to try though.

If that’s exactly what the guy wanted then that should be approval enough. But from the tat world you get your appeasement as well. Simple yet clean and tasteful. Job well done.

Awesome job there. I love how the image isn’t a straight on view of the lion staring straight at you. Your style is very gentle and smokey. As well you got the proportions of the lion’s face down to a tee. I’ve seen some big cat ink done where the artist didn’t get the anatomy right, but you did!

I love to play with other drivers. Usually my launch is pretty good and my car is turbo powered so it really gives you a kick to the ass.
