No not at all. I think some of the best tattoos come form giving the artist as much freedom as possible. The worst ones are when the customer is locked into a particle design or picture.

Yes any exposer will start to damage your tattoo, will see the damage no but it is accumulative and a slow process.
5 years later you’ll think it looks fine but then you will see a picture of how it looked 5 years ago and notice how much it faded
moral of the story use sun block daily even on a cloudy day
